The following tabs can be found in the Operations panel of Plan Spec:

Lines in Operations Panel:

 

Alt. Enter or select an alternate specification where a line can be found.
(+) Clicking (+) opens additional lines related to this operation. In other words displays materials to be integrated in assembly when executing the operation. Which of the above-mentioned lines are integrated in assembly during specific operations can be defined by appropriate sequence of line numbers. Typically, most lines of materials are integrated during the first operation being assigned a smaller number than the related materials.

 

 

Lines of Individual Operations

Alt. Displays an alternate line of assembly.
Line Displays a consecutive number of line.
Item Displays an ID of material.
Name Gives description of material.
Line Displays number of the selected line in ascending order as defined in product specification.
Operation Enter or select an operation ID.
Name Enter or select a name of the item. Clicking + displays additional description. If additional description already exists in line, the icon is grey and displayed in bold type.
Tpr

 

Enter production time required for assembly production.
Tsu

 

Enter set-up time required for production of specified quantities expressed in the selected unit - assembly series.
Time Displays total standard time required for operation. It includes production time (Tpr) and set-up time (Tsu).

 

U/M Enter or select a unit of measurement for production time.
U/M Time

 

Enter or select unit of measurement for time.
Batch Displays number of units in production batch.

 

Formula Enter or select a formula in order to calculate quantity of required work for manufacturing a certain amount of product.

 

Volume Enter or select number of units in assembly ranging from 1 to 1,000,000 units for which production time was set. That is, if you select 1,000 units, the production time is expressed for production of 1000 units.
Oper. Type Displays types of operation: ­ Enter or select among the following types of operations: Work Operation, Fictional Operation, Control Operation, External Operation.
Spec Qty Enter quantity in case of external operation (e.g. sub-contracting).
Volume Enter or select number of units in assembly ranging from 1 to 1,000,000 units for which production time was set. That is, if you select 1,000 units, the production time is expressed for production of 1000 units.
Spec U/M Enter or select the main unit of measurement used for quantity in line of external operation.
Offset Type Enter or select type of offset existing between the previous and current operation which further determines the sequence of work:
Z - After previous has finished; I - Simultaneously to previous; C - Time offset; Quantity offset.
Offset

 

Enter offset time between the two operations.
Priority Displays resource priority. Priorities can be set in Resource priority code list (double click in Priority field or go to Settings\Manufacturing\Resources\ Resource priority).
Resource Select an ID of resource where operations is executed.

 

No. of Workers

 

Optional field: In order to calculate production costs select number of resources when executing an operation.
Salary Grade

 

Optional field: In order to calculate production costs select a salary grade for employees when executing an operation. Enter it manually. Otherwise it is filled-in when you enter resource. That is, if you have not already entered salary grade or when it is the same as the one set in the previous line.
Bonus

 

Optional field:In order to calculate production costs.select a bonus for employees when executing an operation.
Prim. Class. Displays an ID of primary category of item.
Sec. Class Displays an ID of secondary category of item.
Tpr/Plan Displays production time required for carrying out operation in line of plan.
Tsu/Plan Displays set-up time required for carrying out operation in line of plan.
Tpr/1 Enter production time required per batch or assembly unit.
Tsu/1 Displays set-up time required for production of series.
Tpr/Volume Displays production time according to volume.
Tsu/Volume Displays set-up time according to volume.
