Search for WO and Operations

The Work Orders/Employees form allows you to select and add work orders (WO) and employees to the Daily Plan form.

The Operations form allows you to review and select operations of a selected work order (WO) from the Work Orders/Employees form of a Daily Plan.

Below, see a use case for this feature.

Case summary

The person responsible who prepared the Daily Plan for the workers by shift can now easily select, schedule, and review the daily plan items. The person responsible wants to transfer work orders to the operations, specified in the work order. This is done as follows:

  1. Document type for WO
  2. Document type for operations
  3. Work orders and operations on the Daily Plan

1. Document type for WO

The person responsible accesses the settings from Settings | Program | Document Types.

The document types register opens, and the person responsible expands the Plan panel. The person responsible selects the Daily Plan panel, and then selects the Work Orders panel.

In this section, the person responsible can select which work orders are assigned to the Daily Plan.

The person responsible can choose All and Custom.

In this case, the person responsible selects Custom, and a table for creating a custom list of work order document types assigned to the daily plan, which is document 6000 in this case, appears on the form.

2. Document type for operations

The person responsible accesses the settings from Settings | Program | Document Types.

The document types register opens, and the person responsible expands the Plan panel.

The person responsible selects the Daily Plan panel, and then chooses the Operation Types panel.

In this section, the person responsible can select which operation types are assigned to the Daily Plan.

In this case, the person responsible selects Custom, and a table for creating a custom list of operation types, assigned to the Daily Plan. appears on the form.

The person responsible enters or selects the ID of the operation type that they want to assign to the daily plan, from the Item Types register, which, in this case, are types 700 and 701.

3. Work orders and operations on the Daily Plan

The person responsible can search for Work Orders and Operations using various filters. The person responsible can also review data about work orders, operations on work orders, and so on.

The Work Orders/Employees form can be found on the right side of the Daily Plan form, and can be shown by clicking the   button. The form can be hidden by clicking the  button.

Warning

By clicking the  button, you can open the form in a separate window.

The person responsible wants to filter work orders, using the filters in the header.

In this case, the person responsible wants to filter all work orders from September 1st to September 31st, that are in progress.

The person responsible transfers the work orders to the daily plan using the drag-and-drop method.

The person responsible then clicks the (eye) button in the Work Order, and a window will open, with the operations where the person responsible selects the operations of the chosen work order.

From this operations card, the person responsible can specify a particular operation, and transfer it to a specific position in the work order using the drag-and-drop function.
