With this function you can calculate the amount of the salary through custom variables.

A click on this button will open a window where you can enter benefits, net salary, bonuses, employee's gross salary or the gross II. If you enter one of the listed field, the program will recalculate other fields. Exception are the Tax relief and Benefits field which affect other data, but it does not go otherwise.

To calculate salary, employer and employee contributions, income and payroll tax , the program will use settings from the earnings types. This way, it is important for which earnings types you would like to calculate data.

You would like to pay the employee a gross salary in the amount of 460.000,00 for the regular work (earnings type RDC). Enter in the Gross field the value 460.000,00 and in the Benefits field 20.000,00 and the program will calculate and fill-in all other fields:

• Tax Relief will fill-in from the Employee Files | Position/Salary | Salary Parameters. (10%)
• The program will calculate the net amount for the payout (Gross I - employee contributions - income tax - benefits).
• If the employee is entitled to benefits, you have to enter it, so the information will be included in the calculation of contributions/taxes. However, the information does not affect the net salary (the information has been entered).
• The program will calculate the amount of the employee contributions (according to data from the earnings types register or indirectly from the work types register).
• The program will calculate the amount and the percentage for the income tax according to the income tax classes . For a more detailed description of the income and payroll tax prepayments for the individual month see chapter Calculation of Tax Prepayment.
• Gross salary (the information has been entered).
• The program will calculate the contributions to the salary according to the information in the earnings types or indirectly work types registers, included are also data about
• The program will calculate the payroll tax according to data of the register of income and payroll tax rates.
• The Gross II is a sum of Gross salary and employer contributions.

If you click on the Confirm button , the program will confirm the set gross salary.

You can use this function to calculate hypothetical payout values, provided the employee will receive a certain gross or net salary!
