000001.gif Using the function for automatic discharging is suitable when it is not necessary to manage items by serial numbers. In such cases serial number only represents a designation mark for putaway to customs warehouse.

It holds goods that discharging of each line for putaway to customs warehouse has to be performed in a new line for picking from customs warehouse due to traceabillity of receptions and issues in the Customs Warehouse module. Hence, you have to accordingly create three lines for picking to issue a quantity of three different receptions from the customs warehouse. Using serial numbes you can specify from which customs reception you draw goods.

Select serial numbers or document IDs used in putaway to customs warehouse on-the-fly, that is, manually.

Having checked Auto-assign S/N in document types used in customs picking, the appropriate number of line for picking is created automatically. Thus discharging the corresponding number of customs warehouse receptions.

The first received quantity which has not been issued will be discharged according to date and document ID.

Example:

Let us assume you would like to issue 30 items A taking into account that you have the following amount of item A on stock:

  • 10 items A, received by using document of receiving 0090000001 (SAD - 1)
  • 70 items A, received by using document of receiving 0090000002 (SAD -2)

A message is returned when automatically assigning serial numbers informing you that you can issue only 10 pieces (see Serial numbers cannot be assigned automatically! Ordered quantity X Actual quantity Y Difference X-Y). The first line of picking will be created:

  • 10 items A, received by using document of receiving 0090000001 (SAD - 1)

To issue the remaining 20 pieces of the item you have to create a new line for putaway.

  • 20 items A, received by using document of receiving 0090000002 (SAD -2)
