Posting material consumption relieves inventory of value of goods or materials and charges or discharges costs and losses.

After posting of material consumption in a definite period (e.g. one-month, three-month period) has completed, it is wise to enter end date of material movements in the Goods section of the Administration Panel. You cannot modify date in the period already closed and attempting this returns an error.

Select documents for posting in the Posting Material Consumption panel. Select them in All panel or separately in Receiving, Transfer, Issue... panels.

It is wise to set definite period to post material consumption. To attempt to post material consumption for let us say February, select the following:

Click Collect. Documents matching criteria set will appear in the Documents to Be Posted panel:

Enter criteria necessary for creating journal entry and click Post.
