Activation of Personnel Granule
This chapter provides more detailed descriptions of the process of assigning PANTHEON Personnel Granules to the users and of other important settings for optimal operation of the application.
Before activating the Personnel Granule for a new user, it is strongly recommended to define user authorizations. In PANTHEON, select Settings | Program | Administration panel | Users and groups | Users and select the corresponding user. In the tab Security | General, set the permissions to None and click the Save button.

In PANTHEON, select Settings | Program | Administration panel | Versions/Upgrades | Installation and select the Granules tab.

If you follow the instructions above when activating the granule, the user will receive the default permissions, which is recommended. All other authorizations will be set to none automatically.
 |
WARNING
If you assign the Granule to an existing user, for example, a superior who has higher permissions, the superior will also have higher permissions in the Granules. This means that the Granule will not overwrite higher permissions with lower ones.
|
 |
WARNING
If you remove the Granule from the user, the user permissions are reset to the state before the Granule was assigned.
|
 |
WARNING
The activation of the Granule will not work as described above if the checkboxes Inherited from parent and Acquired from user group are checked for individual authorizations. Authorizations with these settings will operate according to this configuration.

3.1 Internet
For the company, the settings for sending email requests in PANTHEON need to be defined.
In the Internet panel, you can define your email settings. They are divided into general settings for E-mail and separate tabs for Servers, Proxy, FTP and OAuth2.
The form can be accessed from the menu Settings | Program | Administration Panel by clicking the panel Settings | Internet.
3.2 Employment Record
It is expected that the employee has a start date (i.e. start of employment at the company) entered in Employment Record.

3.3 Superior in Salary Calculation Parameters
It is recommended that the employee has a superior selected in the salary Calculation parameters. Based on this setting, the superior field is filled in automatically when submitting the Requests.

3.4 Contact person and E-mail
In the Employee files in PANTHEON, select the contact of the employee who is linked to the subject (generally, the subject is 'Our Company').

By double-clicking the contact field, the Subject form opens, where you need to define the employee's email for successful submission of requests.

3.5 Workflow
In the PANTHEON program, select Settings and the menu Documentation | Workflow Design.
Click the (Import/Export data) button in the toolbar and click Transfer registers.
In the Download Register | Workflow Definitions window, click the Download from server button.
Select the workflow (business process) named Requests for absence, work obligations etc.
Click the Transfer into Register button.
