Changes of account settings and transfer to other databases

If you have with change of chart of accounts changed also accounts settings, we have a tool to performed this changes also on other databases. Account transfer matrix can be found on wizard of chart of accounts register. We prepare an Update Accounts in Settings matrix and trigger update in all databases. In this way account settings will be transferred on other databases and they will replace accounts on accounts setting set for matrix valid for previous chart of accounts.

It is also possible to prepare year-end with the old chart of account and initial balance with the new chart of accounts. We use account transfer matrix to set appropriate old an new accounts for closing fiscal year.

We can activate Account transfer matrix from chart of accounts register by using wizard.

It show the matrix, which allows us to enter the old and new accounts. The old accounts are meant accounts in the old chart of accounts, the new accounts are account of the chart of account from where we have called the matrix.

We set on accounts  in the upper left window to change accounts in all matrix for automatic posting.

In the middle left window is set on accounts which we want automatic posting from the old account to the final journal entry (year-end) for a new account at a new initial journal entry. The program will be based on the closing journal entries and mapping matrix prepare the initial journal entries with accounts from the new chart of accounts.

Update Accounts in Settings	Under the Old chart of accounts enter account from the previous chart of accounts under the New chart of accounts enter the account that applies in this chart of accounts.
Databases	We can select only databases that are the same version as the database on which the matrix is prepared.
Update	Update will reconcile accounts on the database.
Update in  All Databases	Update in All Databases will reconcile accounts on all marked databases.
Change Accounts in All Settings	Whereas in certain settings of automatic posting is not possible to set separate settings for chart of accounts 1 and chart of accounts 2, it is possible through this option generally change the settings for automatic postings based on the matrix in upper left matrix.It is suitable for changing settings accounts for automatic posting such as the posting of employees' contributions.
Import / Export Data	Account settings for automatic posting changes and account changes in Year-end can be imported from excel file using function import / export data. An example of test file for account changes in settings. An example of test file for account changes in year-end. Account numbers in excel file must have text format. Journal entry number for year-end must have 13 digits and not include hyphens. An example: 14ZAK00000001

Before we begin updating account transfer matrix on all databases with option  we need to enter account transfer matrix or add it in Administration panel (import / export data).

Settings changes in document types in LT/LX editions

If the change of the chart of accounts also change  the posting matrix, the account mapping matrix can be prepared and new accounts can change old ones in posting matrix (Document Types in LT / LX Edition). This is the way how to change old accounts on posting matrix with the new valid for the current (new) chart of accounts.

In the lower left window we set new accounts which will replace the old ones in document types in LT/LX Edition (matrix for automatic posting).
