Checking inventory shortage

Inventory shortage is a fairly reliable indicator that not all documents have been entered into the system or that some documents have been entered incorrectly.
The inventory shortage document is classified as an internal issuing document, which is why the documents of this type cannot be modified once they have been created. At the same time, this document type is not classified as tax records and does not entail any receivables from customers, which is why it is only used to record the consumption of materials.
This chapter shows how to determine an inventory shortage.
After an inventory count has been made at the Warehouse Retail, an inventory count document appears in the inventory list.
