Use the General Ledger Cross Reference module to create posting overviews and event more important to view contra entries.

To include posts, you have to specify period (Period From - To). Check for posting to debit or credit side by specifying account to check for contra entries.
Example:
On April 4th, 2007 you posted issued invoice 07-300-00006. For sake of transparency, we can see these are the only entries that were posted to account 1200 on April 4th:

To see how the debit posting was removed from records on account 1200. Let us once again mention that for sake of transparency we will restrict date to April 4th, 2007:
Enter criteria:

Then click Search. For detailed treatment of Transactions/Balance options see
Opening.
1. Summary panel:

Enter the opening amount in the Type field according to the opening date set above. The actual opening date set is January 1st, 2007. If you selected Transactions, only those posted to the debit side are displayed (since Debit side is selected for posting side).
2. Details panel:

Here are displayed all contra entries to the correspodning posts in the Summary panel. In the above journal entry it can be observed that record of amount posted to account 1200 is removed and posted to accounts 26000, 4980 and 4000. Five contra entries to account 1200 are displayed here.
Here you can merge data any way you like. Clicking Group-Contra Account while positioned on the corresponding field, groups data by contra account. It is wise to use this option to verify removal of multiple records over a longer period. It is displayed in window:

3. Posts panel:
All posts of the selected account or posting side can be found listed here. That is, basic posts (those for which you want to check whether they were removed or not). Below you can see only one posting to the debit side of the account 1200 in the period from March 17th, 2007 to March 17th, 2007:
