The option is used for retail prices management. It allows for the calculation of new retail prices on various bases, report of the prices modification record, and updating of the retail prices in the items register. The procedure of the price modification is taking place in two steps:

  1. enter new retail prices for the items
  2. display the document for the price modifications and check if the new retail prices have been entered correctly
  3. with the choice of function "Confirm price modification" from the wizards menu, also enter the newly designated retail prices into the items register (see Task Bar)

The document type has to be designated first in order to modify the price. Here the receiving warehouse is equal to the issuing warehouse.

Document lines for the price entering can be entered in two ways:

1. in the central panel

if you wish to modify the prices in all sales ranges, this is also the only possible way of carrying out the procedure. It is also used, when a different percentage of price increase is chosen in every price range. Thus entered data is also transferred in the document line.

2. directly in the document lines

for the price modification, if only the retail price will be changed (and according to it) price from the first price range.

000001.gif If the retail price with the un-changed tax rate is changed with the stock posting according to the sales price, the relative portion of the retail price will affect the changed difference in price for the changed value of the calculated VAT.

This is why the documents for the price modification in such warehouse also have to be recorded (see example Price change - retail price)

000001.gif Document for the price change is also appearing in the trade records of the warehouse, where the price has been changed. ONLY THE CONFIRMED documents are being displayed in the trade records, because they are regarded as the ones, where the stock value has been changed.

000001.gif Use of the price change procedure is MANDATORY, if the stock are booked upon retail price! For example see chapter Stock records according to the sales price or the actual page Price change - recording upon sales price.
