Multiple-Checkbox Field

A multiple-checkbox field differs from a simple checkbox in that it offers a choice of multiple values. It is most commonly found in calculations and reports.

In a multiple-checkbox field you can select zero, one or several values. The checkboxes are selected with the mouse or the space bar, as with a checkbox. We can also use the arrow keys to move around the rows.

Right-clicking into a multiple-checkbox field opens an additional menu for a quick selection of the checkboxes.

  • Select all – selects (ticks) all items in the selection
  • Deselect all – deselects (unticks) all items in the selection
  • Invert selection – changes all selected (ticked) items to deselected (unticked) and vice versa – all deselected (unticked) items become selected (ticked).
