Multiple selection lists look similar to checkboxes. The difference is that multiple selection lists are not used to enable or disable functions, but rather to select which of the listed items should be included in an operation. They are most often used in selecting criteria for reports.

One, multiple or all options can be selected. Select or deselect an option by left-clicking the box before the appropriate item. Alternatively, use the cursor keys to move up or down and the spacebar to select or deselect an item.

There is a quicker way for checking or unchecking options.

000001.gif Right-click to open a special menu for making selection easier.

All items can quickly be selected or deselected by right-clicking in the selection list and selecting the appropriate option from the context menu:

  • Deselect All - Deselects all items
  • Invert Selection - Selects all deselected items and vice versa.
