Activating the ePosting Service

Activating the ePosting service is a part of the process that can best be explained with the image below;

A company activates, or orders, the ePosting service on the UserSite.

After ordering on the UserSite, the company receives an activation email from Datalab. This is followed by general settings in PANTHEON. After successfully defining the settings, the company can start using the desired service.

CASE SUMMARY

The Tecta company wants to use the ePosting service. The person responsible selects the correct service and activates it, or orders it, on the UserSite. This is done as follows:

  1. Selecting the ePosting service
  2. Ordering the ePosting service on the UserSite
  3. Activating the Datalab ePosting service

1. Selecting the ePosting service

The person responsible will check the packages and service prices on the Datalab website. The packages are pre-paid, which means the company buys the package and uses it until all the documents are used up – with no time limit.

HINT

Users who, at the time of ordering, use PANTHEON edition 10.0.26.00 or newer, receive the first ePosting package free of charge, and can therefore test the service on their own.

The company can choose between two packages:

  • ePosting – 150 documents
  • ePostingPRO – 150 documents

ePosting – standard service – offers import of predefined data for bookkeeping (such as invoice date, invoice number, service date, items, prices, rebates etc.).

ePostingPRO – premium service – learns and enables users to read additional data from the invoice, such as phone number lists on a telecommunication bill, which automatically runs the costs by department. A similar thing can be done with a gas bill, for particular registration numbers. This package is prepared in a way that helps the company to maximally adjust it with a supporter's help.

HINT
  • For advice when ordering the ePosting service and for additional information, contact prodaja@datalab.si or 01 252 89 50, or your partner.
  • To understand how the ePosting feature works in practice, see the instructions in the chapter ePosting.

In this case, the person responsible selects the standard service.

2. Ordering the ePosting service on the UserSite

To order the ePosting service, you must be logged into the UserSite.

HINT

The user logged into PANTHEON is automatically logged into the UserSite by clicking Help | Help Contents.

The person responsible selects Login.

Into the User Name and Password fields, the person responsible enters their user information and clicks the Login button.

The person responsible continues the ordering procedure. From the menu, the person responsible selects My data | EServices.

Among the eBusiness services, the person responsible selects the ePosting service, then the MORE INFORMATION AND ORDER.

An Order ePosting Service site opens. In the window, the system automatically fills in general data (as shown in the image below, or defined by the descriptions in the table below):

Enter the name of the company that is ordering the service.

Name and surname of the contact person

Enter the full name of the person responsible in the company that is ordering the service.

WARNING

To order the ePosting service, you must have purchased the eDocumentation package (does not apply to users of the PANTHEON Web Light license, into which the basic eDocumentation package is included). Read the chapters About eDocumentation and Activating eDocumentation services.

The person responsible selects the ePosting package. In this case;

  • the ePosting 150 GB package in the Name field and
  • in the Quantity field, selects: 1 (1 package)
WARNING

The quantity is always 1 when ordering for the first time. When this quantity is used, you can adjust the quantity when ordering again. The service is supplemented with your active use. To all users ordering for the first time, 1 (one) "training" ePosting 150 GB package is gifted free of charge.
All following, or additional packages are priced according to the valid price list.

Lastly, the person responsible confirms the following in the lower part of the window;

  • statement that states they are familiar with the prices, that the listed data is accurate and that they have all necessary authorizations for confirming special conditions at their disposal.

clicking the Activate button, activates the selected package.

WARNING

If you are ordering the ePosting 150 package for the first time, the free "training" version of the service will be activated by clicking the Activate button.

If you want to change your selection, click the Cancel button.

3. Activating the Datalab ePosting service

After successfully ordering the ePosting service, the person responsible receives a confirmation from Datalab at activation.

The activation e-mail contains information about the package, quantity, and price of the package.

The image below shows an example of an activation message from Datalab.

HINT

After ordering the ePosting service, you can view the ordered service (whether the order was recorded) in PANTHEON, on the Subscriptions tab.

The process of activating ePosting is thereby completed. Next, general settings in PANTHEON must be defined. These settings will enable the company to use ePosting. Among other things, entering the mailbox password, which you had received with the activation e-mail.
