Working Time Records

At the company level, we can define the work schedule, work categories that will serve as lunch breaks, other types of breaks and work type for holiday.

Table of contents

  1. Working Hours and Break Categories
  2. Working Time / Mandatory Attendance
  3. Night Work
  4. Categories for Work Exceptions

1. Working Hours and Break Categories

Working Hours We enter the code for working hours in case we have an individual employee that has different working hours; we can enter it in his/her hours in Employee Files in Working Hours in Planned working time.
From We enter a date from which date working hours register is valid.
Lunch Break Category

We open the dropdown window by pressing in the icon  in the end of the field. The setting is used to add rules for a lunch break category.

Break Categories We open the dropdown window by pressing in the icon  in the end of the field. The setting is used to add rules for break categories.

Lunch Break Category

Category

Name Name of the chosen Calendar Entry Types ID is displayed. We can also manually change the name here.
After Start We enter when the employee can go to lunch break in a working day. For example: we have that the first hour of a working day employee cannot go to a meal break.
Before end We enter until when the employee can go to lunch break during a working day. For example: we have that the last hour of a working day employee cannot go to a meal break.
Approved time We enter how long this break can last and it is included to the working time.
Transfer We can confirm the checkbox in case we allow that the breaks are transferred from one day to another. For example: on Monday we did not go to lunch break and we will transfer this 30 min to Tuesday.

Break Categories

Category We enter the ID of a code from Calendar Entry Types from the panel Working Hours of a break.
Name Name of the chosen Calendar Entry Types ID is displayed. We can also manually change the name here.
Max. breaks We can define how many times we can have this break in a working day.

Daily limit We define what is the daily limit of a break. For example: we can have more coffee breaks but only the 30 min will be included in the working time.

2. Working Time / Mandatory Attendance

In Working Time / Mandatory Attendance we enter two types of rules. This is important for transferring the hours from PAW.

Day We define for which day individual this applies or we can set that it applies to all days.  Days can be selected from the drop-down list.
Before Start We define how many hours before starting work it is calculated to the working time. For example: planned working time starts at 8 o’clock, we can define here that in case somebody starts working at 7 o’clock that it is calculated in working time.
After End We define how many hours after finishing work it is calculated to the working time. For example: planned working time end at 16 o’clock, we can define here that in case somebody ends working at 17 o’clock that it is calculated in working time.
After Start We define how many hours after starting work the mandatory attendance starts. For example: working time starts at 8 o’clock, we can define here that mandatory attendance is 2 hours after the start of working day.
Before End We define how many hours before ending work the mandatory attendance finish. For example: working time ends at 16 o’clock, we can define here that mandatory attendance is 2 hours after the end of working day.

3. Night Work

Here we define the start and end time for the night shift.

Night Work From We define the  starting time of the night shift.
To The ending time of the night shift.
Night Shift From the drop-down menu we select the shift we previously entered to the Shifts register.

 4.  Categories for Work Exceptions

Saturday We check this check box if the code ID is meant for work on Saturday.
Sunday We check this check box if the code ID is meant for work on Sunday.
Night Work We check this check box if the code ID is meant for work on Night Work.
