Click to open a new journal entry. Enter date of posting and period date of journal entry.

Manually creating journal entries you can add items to posts in the primary currency in the following two ways:

1. Directly in the Journal Entry Line (Middle Section)

2. Or, in the Bottom Section

Here you can also use the key combination (shifting you to the field for entering of account) and (shifting you to the field for entering of subject).

If only local currency can be entered in the account, then the section of the panel, which is designated for entering of foreign currency post, is inactive or it only displays the field content.

The foreign currencies can be entered in posts only in bottom panel section (see additional fields of journal entry for foreign currency posts).
