Year
|
In the Year field you can enter the current year for which you will calculate the leave for.
|
Last Year's Leave Valid Until
|
In the Last Year's Leave Valid Until field you can select from the calendar the end date, to which your employees can use up the remaining leave from the previous year. If employees have different dates to use their remained leave, you can to individual employee delete and change the leave date manually in the Employee files | Absence | Leave parameters panel.

Check for Interruptions in Employment
|
If you select the Check for Interruptions in Employment option, the program will automatically check if an employee has a 6 month uninterrupted employment to whom you would like to enter the leave.

Date for Calculation
|
In the Date for Calculation field you select from the calendar the date that will appear in the Employee files | Absence | Leave parameters panel. The program will also by this date calculate the length of service for leave.
If the program shall use for the calculation of the leave the length of service to the end of year, for which you are calculating, you have to enter in this field the date 31.12. and the year for which you are calculating the leave.

Leave Formula
|
in the Leave Formula field select from the lookup list the formula for calculating the leave. This formula will be valid for all employees, who do not have a selected formula on their Position of Employment | General panel or in the employee files. If you change the leave formula, the program will display a warning: Leave formula changed. Copy new formula to all employees without one?

Copy Leave Takes into Account Planned Working Hours
|
If you select the Include Planned Working Hours option, the program will include copying of the absence planned working hours. The program will copy the absence to planned working hours, at which time the employee is supposed to work.

WARNING
If you select the Include Planned Working Hours option, and you have not entered planned working hours for the employee, the program will not record the leave you will try to enter in the Absence Overview!

WARNING
If option Copy Leave Takes into Account Planned Working Hours is enabled, then the control for employee's fund of hours will not work. When disabled IRIS 3404 and IRIS 3399 will be displayed if entered hours are to low or to high according to the employee's monthly fund.

Earnings Type Mandatory for Calendar Entry Types
|
If you select the ET Mandatory for Calendar Entry Types option, to enter earnings type in the calendar entry types will be mandatory. If you do not select the option, the information will not be mandatory.

Show only Active Workers in the Calendar
|
In case the checker is selected, than in the Absence calendar and Gantt Chart appear only those employees, who are marketed as Active in Employee Files.

Hint at Absence View |
Hint at Absence View is highlighted by default. When pointing the mouse over a certain date in calendar view, the hint shows absent employees and their type of absence.

Leave (days) |
If checked, the leave will be calculated in days even if it was entered in hours. Hours are more likely being entered for the combination of sick leave and regular work on the same day. If instead of regular work, employee uses sick leave for 4 hours and annual leave for 4 hours of the same working day, the program will take into account 1 day of annual leave. |
End Leave Input

The date of end leave input, that limits the entry in the absence calendar before written date in this field. In case the date is entered, than the program will display a message with entry of new absences and multiplying planned working time: No entry before the closing date DD.MM.LLLL is allowed.

Maximum Leave
|
When the checker is selected than the field Days appears. Here we write maximum number of Leave that is valid for entire company. Based on this the control is performed, when calculating leave in employee files in panel Absence | Leave Parameters. The calculation of annual leave may not exceed the number of days entered here.

In the field for formula we enter conditions in case we do not want, that for a specific employees (women older than 50 years, …) would valid limitation of maximum leave calculation from employee files. If we have in this field entered formula, that fulfil a condition, that it will not take into account the limitation from the previous field for days, but will calculate the whole leave based on the formula form Employee Files | Absence | Leave Parameters.

Minimum Leave
|
When the checker is selected than the field Days appears. Here we write minimal number of Leave that is valid for entire company. Based on this the control is performed, when calculating leave in employee files in panel Absence | Leave Parameters. The calculation of annual leave may not be lower than the number of days entered here.

In the field for formula we enter conditions in case we do not want, that for a specific employees (eg employees with disability, …) would valid limitation of minimum leave calculation from employee files. If we have in this field entered formula, that fulfil a condition, that it will not take into account the limitation from the previous field for days, but will calculate the whole leave based on the formula form Employee Files | Absence | Leave Parameters.

Maximum Extraordinary Leave
|
We enter the number of maximum extraordinary leave, that is valid for entire company for those Earning Types, that have in a field selected Absence Type selected Extraordinary paid leave. Control of maximum number of vacation is performed based on an individual ET from Entry Types/ Max. days absent also on the total number of ET that have Absence type selected extraordinary paid leave, where the program at absence entry displays message below:
