Task

Task form enable users to carry out their daily tasks in an organised way. Task records are created during the business process, redirected to them by other people or created by users from almost any form in PANTHEON. After saving, the task appears in the responsible person's task list in the To-do form.
The form Task opens when you click on the button
(Add task), located in the toolbar in any PANTHEON form. Or with double click on task in Tab view or Calendar view on the To-do form.

The form is made up of certain elements and functionalities, which we describe below.

Title
|
In the free field, enter the title of the task you are creating.
|

Start time
|
We set the start date and time of the task. Enter the information manually in the field or specify it in the calendar, which appears as a drop-down list:

Button functionalities:
- specify the date and time in that moment.
- clear date and time entries.
- confirm/enter the selected date and time information in the field.

|
Duration
|
Duration of the task in minutes. Automatically enters the completion of the job in the End field.
|
|
End
|
Task end time.
|
|
Status
|
The status of the job is determined from a drop-down list. Available statuses are:
- Not Started - the task has not yet started.
- In Progress - the task is in progress.
- Completed - the task is complete.
- Canceled - the task has not been performed, it has been cancelled.

Saves all the records we have entered in the form. Closes the form and reports the message: ' Data was successfully updated.'

Creates a copy of an existing task. Saves all the records we have entered in the form and reports the message: ' Data was successfully updated.'

Hint
The form is not closed, so you can correct the data again if necessary or duplicate a task that has already been generated.

Change task status to completed. Closes the form and reports the message: ' Data was successfully updated.'
|
|

|
Change task status to canceled. Closes the form and reports the message: ' Data was successfully updated.'

Priority
|
From the drop-down list, specify the priority of the task. Available priotities are predefined:
- 1 – High priority
- 5 – Normal priority
- 10- Low priority
Priorities make it easier for the user to prioritise tasks.

Department
|
Select the department to which the task is linked from the drop-down list.
|
|
Assigned to
|
Select the user from the drop-down list to direct the task to.
|
|
Cost ctr.
|
Select the cost carrier to which the task is linked from the drop-down list.
|
|
Task text
|
Enter a message to the user to which you are directing the execution of the task.

|
Workflow
|
Select the workflow associated with the task from the drop-down list. If you click on the button , the Search by form is opened.

|
Run the business process we selected in the Workflow field.
|
|
Task Type
|
Select the task type from the drop-down list. You can arrange the code by double-clicking in this field. The Task Type form is opened.

|
Enable adding a link to a task. When clicked, the Add link to Task form is opened.
|
|

|
Hyperlink to the linked document if it is added to the task.
|
|

|
Information about link type selected on the form Add link to Task.

|
Allows you to delete an added link. When clicked, the program returns the message: 'Do you really want to delete the selected record?''

|
If check, allows you to repeat a task and the associated settings.
|
|
Period 
|
In the first field enter the number, in the second field choose the unit of time from the drop-downl list. Available options are:

Until
|
Enter the date of the duration of the ongoing task. The date can be selected by clicking on the calendar which appears as a drop-down list.

The two buttons allow:
- set today's date on the calendar and enter it in the Until field.
- closes the calendar and empties the record in the Until field.

Recurrences
|
Enter the number of repetitions. A value of -1 means infinity.

WARNING
The Recurrences field is activated for editing when you delete a date from the Until field.

Reminder
|
Allows you to set an alert to perform a task. You can select the following options from the drop-down list:
- No Reminder - program will not issue a warning to perform the task.
- 0 minutes – program issues a warning for the execution of the task at the time when the task is scheduled to be executed.
- 5 minutes – before the task is scheduled to be executed.
- 10 minutes
- 15 minutes
- 30 minutes
- 1 hour
- 2 hours
- …
- 11 hours
- 0,5 day
- 18 hours
- 1 day
- …
- 5 days
