Documentation (the General tab)

       

The Documentation tab joins eWorkflows, eDocumentation, and eExchange in one place. It is integrated on all PANTHEON forms and allows you to easily view, import, export, and process documents in PANTHEON.

The form is made up of certain elements, which are described below.

1. Documents Table

Displays a tabular list of the documents in the Documentation.

A detailed description of the functionality can be found in the chapter Documents table.

HINT

The grouping row allows you to group data according to a selected parameter using the 'drag&drop' method.

2. Document Preview

The preview of the selected document appears on the right side of the PANTEHON form.

3. Documentation Tabs

The Documentation tab has several sub-tabs that display data about related documents, metadata, files, etc., and tracking the progress of the task resolution in eDocumentation.

3.1. Links

The Links tab displays the data on documents linked to the selected document. Only existing document links are shown. Linked documents can be opened simply by double-clicking the key of the linked document.

3.2. Metadata

The Metadata tab displays the metadata of the selected document, defined or set for each document classification separately.

3.3. Files

In the Files tab, all files belonging to the selected document are displayed. Here, files can be added, such as contracts, price lists, pictures of articles, delivery notes, etc.

3.4. Chat Log

The tab Chat Log displays information about who, when, and which task was performed in connection with the document, as well as which workflow (e.g. validation) controls the tasks.

3.5. Local Files

On this panel, a link to a locally stored document (on your computer) can be entered.

Document Type

Select a document type code from the drop-down list. The code list is defined in the Types of Documents register.

Valid Until

Set the validity of the document by entering the date or by selecting it from the calendar, which appears as a drop-down list.

Description

Enter a brief description of the document in the space provided.

Document

Copy or enter the location (link) of the document (where it is stored). You can easily access the document by double-clicking the link, which opens the document.

WARNING

Document is not saved in eDocumentation!
