Notes

The Notes tab serves as a dedicated space for entering supplementary information related to Fixed assets, Small Tools or Fixed Assets in Acquisition. These notes can include operational instructions, maintenance reminders, special usage conditions, or contextual details that are not accommodated in standard fields or registers. Notes can be manually added, reviewed, or updated as needed.

The Notes tab can be accessed in the Fixed assets, Small Tools and Register-Fixed Assets in Acquisition registers.

Hint

Examples of how to use the Notes tab are described on the corresponding pages of the User Manual.

The Notes tab consists of the following functional units:

Line Displays the sequential number of each note entry. This numbering starts at 1 for the first note and automatically increments with each new entry. It is system-generated and cannot be manually edited, ensuring consistent ordering of notes.
Clerk Automatically enters the ID of the user (Clerk) who created the note. This provides traceability for accountability. The Clerk is filled in automatically and cannot be changed manually.
Posted Records the exact date and time the note was entered into the Tab. This data is automatically entered by the program and cannot be modified.
Note A free-text field where detailed remarks or instructions related to the asset can be entered. It supports up to 4096 characters, allowing for extensive documentation if needed. This field is the only editable part of the entry and is intended for asset-specific notes not captured elsewhere in the system.
