FA Links

When viewing the FA Links tab in the Fixed Assets or Small Tools register, the program shows the link between the original acquisition entry and the finalized asset entry, if the asset was initially recorded as a Fixed Asset in Acquisition. The displayed data is read-only and reflects source information from the Register-Fixed Assets in Acquisition register
When viewing this tab in the Register-Fixed Assets in Acquisition, it shows the information from the corresponding entry that was created in the Fixed Assets or Small Tools register using the Mass Transfer to FA Register function. The displayed data is read-only.
For example, when a vehicle is purchased but not yet received, it is first recorded in the Fixed Asset in Acquisition register. After delivery, the asset is transferred to the Fixed Assets register. The FA Links tab in both registers then displays a link between the initial acquisition entry and the finalized asset record.
The FA Links tab can be accessed in the Fixed assets, Small Tools and Register-Fixed Assets in Acquisition registers.
