Adding a Scheduled Task in Windows 95

Adding a Scheduled Task in Windows 95

Task scheduling in Windows 95 requires either the Windows 95 Plus Pack or Internet Explorer 4.01 for Windows 95.

The following describes how to add Scheduled Tasks to a system with Internet Explorer 4.0.

In the Control Panel, open Add/Remove Programs. Find Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and click the Add/Remove button.

After download is complete, restart your computer.

Scheduled Tasks can now be found in Explorer, under My Computer.
