If an item is tracked by serial numbers, the program will open the window for entering serial numbers for the entered quantities once a quantity has been entered.

Three basic statuses:

• N - No tracking
• S - One ser. No is one piece
• K - One s/n is multiple pieces (batch)

Three special statuses which are used with the Serial Number Templates settings:

• P - Product Variations (batch)
• E - Compound Serials (one piece)
• O - Compound Serial (batch)

Information about the stock of items with serial numbers can be found in the Serial Numbers panel of the Assets register.

When entering a batch serial number, you must enter the quantity that the serial number will apply to. If, for example, you have a batch serial number of the one piece type, every serial number entered will represent one piece. If the serial numbers (of the one piece type) form a proper sequence, you can simplify the task with the Copy function.

1. One ser. No is one piece

Example: You've purchased 5 pieces of the SERIJSKAS item. Each piece has its own serial number. Once you've entered the quantity into the receiving document, the Enter Serial Numbers window will appear. You may now enter all five serial numbers.

Once the quantity you've enterered in the receiving document has been reached, the program will display a message saying that The Serial number count has been reached!

2. One s/n is multiple pieces

Example: You've purchased 15 pieces of the SERIJSKAK item. This item is packed in boxes containing 5 pieces, but can also be sold individually. After entering the quantity in the receiving document, the Enter Serial Numbers window will appear. You may now enter the serial numbers of three received items.

Once the quantity you've enterered in the receiving document has been reached, the program will display a message saying that The Serial number count has been reached!
