Pricing Authorizations

You can assign write (broadest) or zero (narrowest) authorizations when determining the level of authorization.

• Assign zero authorizations to prevent others to view and change sale prices and values in packing slips, issued invoice and transfer slips. The warehouse keeper can create a document of issue but cannot view sale prices. This way you can make some functions in documents of issue and transfer unavailable:
  • entering dicounts
  • wizards
  • panels and linked registers
• The packing slips, issued invoices and transfer slips do not contain amount due.
• You cannot view the Pricing section in the Costing/Pricing panel in the Items register.
• Assign zero authorizations to disable users from viewing amounts or prices when
  • adding orders
  • adding documents/lines
  • adding orders in picking list.

You can also assign zero authorizations for the Subjects register (for viewing document and balance summary) and reports containing pricing. It is wise to set personal settings so that they can only view items which do not include sale prices (for more information see Personal Settings).

If the user is assigned zero authorizations for costing and pricing, the Costing/Pricing panel will not be visible.
