Select Copy FMP to Plan from the wizards menu in the Schedule Plan window opening a window for creating plan lines from schedule lines.

A window opens in which you can enter criteria in the upper section and in the bottom section you can view lines to copy.

Setting Criteria for Copying Lines in FMP

Target Plan
Enter or select the ID of plan to which you want to copy.
Copy Mode
Select a mode for copying plan. (For detailed treatment see follow-up.)
Item
Enter or select an item.
Name
Enter or select item name.
Prim. Cat.
Enter or select an ID of primary category.
Sec. Cat.
Enter or select an ID of secondary category.
From
Enter or select start date and time of schedule plan.
To
Enter or select end date and time of schedule plan.
Doc. Type
Enter or select a document type narrowing down selection of lines in forward material plan only to those including the selected one.
Item Types Select item type in order to restrict lines for copying.

A List of Lines to Be Copied from FMP to Plan

Sel.
If checked, marks line is for copying. You can check it or uncheck it by double-clicking, or by selecting a command in right-click menu.

Item
Displays ID of item in plan.
Alt.
Displays number of alternate in source plan.
Name
Displays name of item in plan.
U/M
Displays unit of measurement (U/M) used.
Quantity
Displays quantity in line of plan.
Date Displays exact date and time in line of plan.
Doc. Type
Displays ID of document type used in creating line of plan.
Item Type
Displays ID of item type.
Prim. Cat.
Displays an ID of primary category of item.
Sec. Cat.
Displays ID of secondary category of item.

 

Select among the following copying modes:

Overwrite Target Lines with FMP Lines By using this option overwrites target plan lines with the ones from FMP. All checked lines from the list previously restricted by criteria are copied to target plan.
Add FMP Items to Target Plan All checked lines from the list previously restricted by criteria are appended to target plan.
