000001.gif When the detailed posting is selected all the dates in journal entry line are the same as the date, which is used in warehouse records as well as the criteria in material consumption posting (date of receipt, date of issue, date of transfer...)

When the summary posting is selected all the dates in the journal entry line are the same as the posting period date from the journal entry header.

When you make sure that the accounts for removing of records for material consumption have been set adequately, you can launch posting by clicking the Posting button. If posting was successful, the journal entry prepared by the program is displayed.

For that part of posts (document type in summary posting or detailed documents posting), where the posting has not been successfully closed, the procedure can be continued by inspecting the error list and then reposting changed data.
