Using this document type you can post ONLY opening entries (journal entries designated for the opening of fiscal year). Mark it accordingly in the Administration Panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Financials | General. So that such posts get excluded from certain overviews (see Monthly SKV Report to Bank of Slovenia).
