Animal species code

Animal species code is intended for building a system for classifying animals in the program PANTHEON VET. The basic classification of animals is animal species. Then we further classify them into animal categories and animal breeds.

Show only active In the animal species code, we can filter the record displays with the checkbox Show only active. The following section shows an example of using the checkbox to display active and inactive records of animal species in the code.  
Entering animal species The first level of classifying animals in PANTHEON VET is determining the animal species. Below we show you an example of entering a new animal species at the imaginary veterinary station Bestia.
Entering animal category The subordinate level to animal species is animal categories. Below we have prepared an example of a new entry for an animal category.
Entering animal breed Once we have set the animal species and subordinate animal categories, we can also assign breeds to each category. Below is an example of entering a new animal breed.
Copy breeds from Once we have breeds transferred from the server or created, we can also copy breeds between different animal categories. We have shown an example of copying breeds from one animal category to another.
Import/Export data The Import/Export data functionality can be found on almost all forms of PANTHEON VET. On the server, pre-prepared data for imports into codes is available for certain localizations. In the following section, we show you the process of importing a list of breeds from the server.
