1.Details of WO

 

The details of work order can be checked in table or form view. 

Table view details 

% Displays % of work order completion.
Line. Enter any (e.g. consecutive) number for a special marking of work orders for example sort by columns. Create a consecutive number of work order using the following functions:
  • Sort WOs by Cycle Times
  • Sort WOs by Start Dates
  • Sort WOs by End Dates

Find the functions in the wizards menu in Process WO | WO Scheduling. 

WO Displays the ID of work order. It is generated automatically after opening a work order. The initial two digits represent year in which it was created, the next three digits represent ID of work order document type. The last few numbers represent a consecutive number of work order.
Doc. Type Displays ID of work order document type for manufacturing this item.
Priority Displays priority of WO
Date Displays work order's opening date.
Customer Displays ID of customer linked to the work order.
Plan Displays label of a plan from which work order was released.
Order Displays ID of sales order from which work order was created.
Order Line Displays line of sales order from which work order was created.
Start Date Select or enter start date/time when work order was created. When manually entering start date a check is run verifying whether the entered date falls on workday in manufacturing calendar or not. The following message is returned in case of error. 

Displaying start date depends on whether you set parameter Scheduling that can be found in the Administration Panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Manufacturing | General.

End Date Select or enter end date/time when work order was created. When manually entering end date a check is run verifying whether the entered date falls on workday in manufacturing calendar. Displaying end date depends on whether you set parameter Scheduling that can be found in the Administration Panel | Settings | Program Parameters | Manufacturing | General.
Product Displays ID of product from this work order.
Product Variants Displays product variant of an item that will be manufactured in this work order.
Spec Displays whether a product specification is linked to the existing work order.
Regulation Displays whether a plan specification is linked to the existing work order.
Planned Qty Displays a planned quantity of products in work order (planned specifications). When updating the planned quantity and having checked Auto-update Planned Quantities in Child Work Orders appropriately modifies planned quantities in all child work orders.
Produced Qty. Displays an already produced quantity of products in work order.
Status Displays a label for work order status.
Reverse If checked, a work order was reversed. If left unchecked, it is active.
Created From Displays a date when the work order was created.
Name Displays a name of the product in work order.
Item Type Displays an item type in work order.
Prim. Category Displays primary category of the item in work order.
Sec. Category Displays secondary category of the item in work order.
Consignee Displays ID of consignee linked to work order.
Parent WO Displays ID of a parent work order.

 

By clicking a parent WO field opens a dropdown where you can manually change it. When a change was made the planned quantity in parent work order is changed, as well as the way work orders are displayed in tree structure view.
Prod. Time Displays product time in work order which represents a sum total of time required for completion of all operations in WO. Regardless of the order of operations, variance between operations and resource capacities.
Cycle Time Displays cycle time which represents a period range between the initial operation and final operation. It depends on order of operations, any delays occurring between them and of course resource capacities.

 

Form view detials

To see the details of work orders in form view you need to click on Work order details  side grid.

 

Resizing between tabular mode and WO details is possible with drag and drop option.

 

WO Displays the ID of the selected work order that can also be found in the list in bottom section.
Date Displays the date on which the selected work order was opened.
Priority Displays priority of WO

If checked, it means that you can reverse a work order remaining in the list and you can later reactivate. You can reverse only those work orders assigned the status open or released. Deactivated work order cannot be updated, that is, you are unable to start manufacturing. A reversed work order can only be deleted.
(date) Displays a work order's reversal date appearing only after having reversed the work order.
51024.gifMerged If checked, displays whether a work order was created by joining WOs.
Status Displays work order status related to the corresponding stage in realization of a work order. The following are work order statuses: P-Planned, O-Open, I-Reserved, R-Released, D-In Progress, E-Partially Complete and Z-Complete.
Created From Displays the method used in creating a work order. 

Here belong:

Parent WO

ID Displays a parent work order's ID. The parent work order for manufacturing a parent item to the one in the active work order. This can be observed from a list of released work orders in product specification tree structure.
Quantity Displays a quantity of the planned manufacturing in parent work order.

Order

ID Displays an ID of sales order which is linked to the work order.
(Order Line) Displays line in sales order which is linked to the work order.
Date







 
Displays deadline date for sales order delivery which is linked to the work order.

If work order was created from line in order, date is filled-in, according to the parameter Order Date on WO that can be found in Administration Panel offering you the following two options:
  • Order Date - Date is filled-in from order date.
    • Deliver-By -Date is filled-in from line in order, that is, from order header if a line does not include deliver-by date. On the other hand it is filled-in from date of order if deliver-by date is not specified in the header.

With enabling Show WO structure the additional side tab will open where you can observe the dependency in relation parent child work orders.

Customer / Consignee

( ID ) Displays customer or consignee ID. You can make a change and modify selection using the lookup table from the Subjects register.
( name 2 ) Displays name 2 of the selected customer or consignee (data from the register).

Product

51025.gifTransfer S. If checked, alternate serial numbers are transferred to a higher level. This box is visible and checked only if it handles of a child item with serial number tracking.

Check it when:

  • a work order is assigned Z-Complete status,
  • a work order is not reversed
  • a work order is not subordinate in hierarchy
  • an item in work order does not have serial number tracking checked

Contents of the field is transferred when creating WO (from basic product specifications). Yet only in case the item in work order has serial number tracking checked and at the same time the work order must be subordinate in hierarchy (An ID of the parent WO is entered). When creating a work order including an item with active alternates set to ALL.

( ID ) Displays an item ID (specification ) that will be manufactured using this work order.
U/M Displays a unit of measurement used with quantity produced in the work order.
Name Displays name of an item that will be manufactured using this work order.
Product Variant Displays product variant of an item that will be manufactured in this work order.

Processing

Planned Displays quantity of planned manufacturing of items on the work order - quantity in work order.
Produced Displays a quantity of finished products in the work order.
51026.gifReceiving Complete If checked, displays that products from the work order were finished.
Start Date Displays start date of manufacturing in the work order.
End Date Displays end date of manufacturing in the work order.
WO Finished Displays date on which the work order was closed. The date can be observed only when the work order is closed, that is, it is assigned status Z.
Prod.Time Displays production time of the work order representing total time required to finish all work order operations regardless of their order, delays and resource capacities.
Cycle Time Displays cycle time of the work order representing working hours used from start date of the first operation and last operation's end date. Cycle time depends from the sequence of operations, delays and resource capacities.
Department Select a department linked to the work order. The default department can be set under Work Order | Document Types.
Cost Center Select a cost center linked to the work order. The default cost center can be set under Work Order | Document Types.
Note Enter any text as note to the work order.

Work Order Analytics - Realization vs. Plan

Product Displays % of work order completion.
Operations Show the % of issued operation vs. planned operation normativ.
Material Show the % of issued material vs. material  planned normativ.
Scrap Show the % of received product scrap vs. planned normativ product scrap normativ..
Waste Show the % of received product waste vs. planned normativ product scrap normativ..

 

 

HINT

Double-clicking the fields in work order which contain data linked to documents and registers opens a corresponding field. 

 

WARNING

Double-clicking work order No. and any other field from the list opens a window displaying work documentation report. That is, if work order status is set to O - Open or P - Planned. Otherwise a Process WO window is opened

 

WARNING

By clicking on WO number it will appear fast work order processing icon.
