Overview of available stock is an useful function, that can also be accessed
from the customer orders and from the
orders to suppliers.
 |
The free stock is a hypothetical data, that tells you, what the
stock of the chosen item will be after it will be realized:
- all orders of customers and suppliers with the status of such type, that
affects the free stock (in continuation: confirmed orders, which is the name
of predefined status of orders of such type)
- and when the published work orders will be made.
|
The free stock is calculated by the formula:
1. SIMPLE USE (if the Manufacturing module is not being used)
free_stock = actual_stock - confirmed_customer_orders +
confirmed_orders_to_suppliers
2. EXTENDED USE (together with the data from the Manufacturing module)
free stock = actual stock - confirmed customer orders - needs fro WO +
confirmed orders to suppliers + planned manufacturing from WO
When you find the item, for which you wish the free stock overview with the
help of the search window, the following data is being displayed on the panel:
And detailed data about the documents that affect the free stock:
 |
With the overview of free stock and orders the program only
displays the non-delivered, confirmed and non-completed orders of customers or
suppliers.
As confirmed the types of orders are regarded, that have the status of such
type, that it affects on the free stock (see Types of
documents of orders).
Non-confirmed, already delivered or completed orders do not affect the free
stock and are not being considered by the program. |
 |
If the option Include Only Valid Orders
is not checked, the program will only consider all such orders for the
calculation, regardless the validity limit. |
 |
All non-completed or partially completed work orders affect the
free stock, regardless of the selection of the
Include Only Valid Orders option. |
 |
If you can view the data about the current free stock for a
certain item, you may display data about the current free stock for all items or
for the chosen selection of items in the free stock
report. |
